For years, we have suffered with that first bit of watery ketchup when the bottle is opened. Well soggy hot dog and hamburger buns rejoice. That pool of ketchup-colored liquid on your plate may soon be a thing of the past!
Two high school students, Tyler Richards and Jonathan Thompson, from Missouri spent an entire semester designing and testing new ketchup lids that they designed on their school’s 3D printer. Their final product may be a small step for food, but it is a giant step forward in the condiment world.
