At least one conservative news outlet is up in arms over a Super Bowl promo that CBS is running featuring openly-gay superstar Neil Patrick Harris.
The ad shows Neil wearing eye black with the date of the game, February 3rd, 2013, on it. World Net Daily (WND.com) says it's an attempt to make a mockery of Christianity because it's supposedly a knock on Tim Tebow, who often puts Bible verses like "John 3:16" on his eye black. They even quote an anonymous "football fan" who caught the ad on Sunday and said, "They're pushing a gay agenda by using him, and they're mocking Christians at the same time."
What do you think? Mockery? Just a joke? Creative advertising?

Several months ago, after it was revealed that Beyonce was doing the halftime show, she posted a picture of herself wearing eye black with the game's date on it. It's written exactly the same way Neil's is in the CBS ad: "Feb 3" under the right eye, and "2013" under the left.
