Project Runway finalist Andy South was an outwardly gay man when he appeared on the show.  That was then.  Now, Andy is a woman! 
Andy starred in season 8 and made the top 3, earning himself a spot in the finale. Nieman Marcus carried his stuff for a while. Andy is now going by the name Nong Ariyaphon Southiphong.
