Ask 39 year old Los Angeles resident Mikel Ruffinelli what she thinks about big hips and she'll tell you without missing a beat: "Big is beautiful!"

And she means it. Mikel Ruffinelli's hips are so large she's been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as 'the woman with the largest hips in the world".

Mikel's hips are so large, 8 feet wide, she can only drive a truck because she doesn't fit in a regular car and she has to pass through every door sideways.

Chairs at Mikel's home are reinforced with steal staves and her bed is over 7 feet wide.

All the clothes Mikel wears are custom taylored because she's relatively 'small' in her waist section and top compared to the size of her hips.

The mother of four says she loves her 'booty' and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Her husband loves it too and tells Mikel every day how beautiful she is.

Despite her extremely large hips, Mikel Ruffinelli, who stands just 5 feet 4 inches tall and weights 380 pounds, makes her living as a model. She earns on average $1,000 per shoot.
