Ya know, I'm not a big fan of these shows.  Like alot of people, I followed AI very closely for awhile and after having your favorite NOT win, it's a bit of a let down.  I couldn't handle the heartbreak.  :)

The one thing I DO enjoy is that moment... when you hear something special.  Something unexpected.

The quiet, shy, geek who comes out on stage, head bowed, fighting the lights.  You can see them looking around and you get the feeling they're going to run for the doors at any moment.  Then, the music starts, and they sing... the most wonderful voice pours out.  You're left with your jaw on the floor, and a chill up your arms. 

THOSE moments I LOVE.

Last night, the first night for The X-Factor and it's new crew, I had that moment again.
