Billie Eilish unveiled her dramatic new makeover Sunday, rocking a “classic, old-timey pin-up” vibe for her next music era.

Speaking to British Vogue, the “Your Power” singer, who’s photographed wearing corsets, stockings and heels while also showing off her hip tattoo, admitted to the publication, “I’ve literally never done anything in this realm at all.”

Billie noted that it’s time for her to embrace her body and sexuality.  And for those who may disparage her for this, she had this message: “My thing is that I can do whatever I want.”

The Grammy-winner also shared her thoughts about beauty standards and her hopes that, one day, women will have the confidence to feel comfortable in their own skin.

“It’s all about what makes you feel good,” said Billie. “If you want to get surgery, go get surgery. If you want to wear a dress that somebody thinks that you look too big wearing, f*** it – if you feel like you look good, you look good.”

She also addressed the fact that she might be criticized online now that she’s no longer wearing baggy clothes.

“Suddenly you’re a hypocrite if you want to show your skin, and you’re easy and you’re a slut and you’re a wh***.  If I am, then I’m proud,” fumed Billie. “Let’s turn it around and be empowered in that. Showing your body and showing your skin – or not – should not take any respect away from you.”

The singer’s upcoming sophomore album Happier Than Ever will explore themes such as reclaiming her sexuality and agency, which is evident in her new single, “Your Power.” On the track, she sings about someone who took advantage of her when she was younger.

Happier Than Ever is due out July 30.
