Justin Bieber is the leading nominee for the 2021 MTV VMAs, scoring seven nods including Artist of the Year.
Justin’s followed by Megan Thee Stallion with six nods, and Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, BTS, Doja Cat, Drake and Giveon, each picking up five nominations.
Other artists receiving nominations include Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles and Beyoncé.
The nominees for Video of the Year are Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion‘s “WAP,” The Weeknd‘s “Save Your Tears,” Doja Cat and SZA’s “Kiss Me More,” Ed Sheeran‘s “Bad Habits,” Lil Nas X‘s “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name),” and DJ Khaled and Drake‘s “POPSTAR,” which stars Justin Bieber.
The 2021 MTV VMAs will air live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on September 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT across all of MTV’s digital platforms, as well as CMT, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, TV Land, MTV2, Pop, TV Land, VH1, Logo and The CW.
Fans can start voting today across 14 categories, which are gender neutral, via vma.mtv.com. Voting runs through Friday, September 3, though the voting for Best New Artist will remain active right up into the show on September 12. More nominations in social categories, like Best Group and Song of the Summer, will be announced later date.
