KS95 for Kids

Maisy Keegan

Maisy was a vibrant, energetic, happy and normal little 3 year old. On August 26th, 2020 in the middle of a pandemic and on her brothers 9th birthday, a trip to the pediatrician for a sickness turned into the worst day of our lives! Maisy’s blood work was alarming and we were told to go straight to the hospital. In a matter of a few hours, our world went from a normal day of working, errands, picking kids up, doctors appointments, dinner, to….the words of…Your child has Leukemia! Complete and utter devastation swept over our hearts as the world caved in around us. For the past 2 years, we have watched our little girl fight for her life! Pumped with chemo, steroids, antibiotics, and poked with needles countless times! We’ve watched over her in her hardest moments while praying we could take her place! We’ve also seen her triumphs, strength and immune system come back stronger than ever these past few months! We’re currently in the home stretch with her treatment coming to the end on October 30th and her long awaited moment to Ring the Bell on Nov 11th! We owe so much to Masonic Children’s! They helped save our daughter!
